Hello, Parents.

Our school services children for infant.

Infant to four years old is for Nursery school

We are located in front of Daesung high rising apartment next Camp Henry. You can usually find a yellow school bus is parked in front of the building.

Hours of Operation

Monday ~ Friday : 07:50 - 18:30 : Nursery school

Saturday : No school

Closed on Sundays and national holidays.

We feed the children different types of porridges everyday at 09:00 A.M.

If you want you can send the milk or drinks that your kids like.

The lunch and afternoon snacks will be provided.

The class stats at 10:00A.M. We will appreciate if you drop your children until 09:50 A.M.

*수업내용*

We have 2 English class(2 years), 2 physical activities(All),

1 HABA class(All), 1 Gabe(All), 1~2 Taegwando(2 years), 1 art class(All), 1 Music class(All), expression class(All), number management class and free play time a week.

The children watch cartoons at school sometimes(All).

(The class can be changed by the age)

We go to field trip in Spring and Fall and watch musical, play and a puppet show.

We have a big inside playroom and outside playground. Also have a garden that can plant the vegetables and harvest. A bathroom, a kitchen, and a warehouse are the attached facilities. Also have a place for natural experience in 10 minutes away.

Every first Tuesday we provide physical check up by the professor.

We take a preventive measures(예방책) every month, do it more often in Summer.

We vaccum the floor, hallway, and inside playroom, also cleans the toys everyday.

*음식*

We think that children's safety and cleanness is the priority(우선) and only feed the child dishes once that we made. We keep the expiration(만료) date and make out a menu with vegetables mostly that we grow.

The entrance fee is 100,000Won, that includes the bag, uniform, lunch box, blanket bag, pillow cover, insurance.

(Every 1st is the payment day, if you start school in the middle of the month, you only pay for the rest days of the month, and start pay on every 1st.)

The fee for transportation is 25,000Won, should follow the routine we make.

If you live too far from the bus course you can't use the transportation.

We keep the extra clothes, shoes(for outdoor play), plenty(풍부) of diapers and formulas(처방전, 방식).

When you send the medication we also need a prescription.

When you start the school, we need a copy of a child's passport.

We do the swimming at outdoor playground in summer with clean water.

*DVD*

We take pictures of the child, and every six month make a DVD in a music to make a good memories of the childhood.

When you register you should pay the entrance fee and please the tuition fee before you start

We feed the child the porridge for breakfast at 09 a.m., lunch at 12p.m., brush teeth at 12:40 and take a nap at 1:00 p.m. The child will get up at 3:00 and eat the snack at 3:20

We do not abuse(학대) the child. If you have any problems due(기인하다) to cultural differences please pursue(추적) the questions our responsibilities(책임의무).

Please let us know ahead if your child has particular(특별한) matters for example being particular about certain food, behaviors(행실), ask for potty training, feel the baby food instead of milk. So on

☆Questions American parents want to know!?"

1) Will my child like Korean food?

There are few parents pack spaghetti (1 out of 50) in the beginning but in 2 -3days the children start eating Korean food and sometimes they even ask Korean food at home. Korean food is the world known food and the cook make a food daily, and we don’t give the children leftovers next day.

The lunch menu is Korean food mainly grown organically not fast food. The teachers and administrators also eat the same food. Please believe in Esop.

2) Any problems until the child adapt to new environment? Want to make a decision after a few day?

The parents might worry about if the child adapt to a new school, but if you trust the education program and teachers you won’t be disappointed in Esop. There are few parents who want to make a decision after few days. Most children won’t have any problems but sometimes the children might cry when they say good bye to the parents. And since it won’t last long the parents do not need to worry about it. The school fee is charged monthly if you need to pull your child out before a month we refund weekly basis. ( For example we charge a fee weekly for 1-6days), entrance fee is required. The reason is we need to ensure your child and provide backpack and lunchbox ( Those help the children have a sense of unity)

3) What if my child is sick?

We contact the parents right away, and discuss with a parents about small injury. We don’t give out any antibiotic or fever reducer, only give the medication that has sent by the parents. Make sure your child vaccinates as scheduled and when you send the medication please send with a letter of request. Please make a note if something is important. And leave the emergency contact number besides parents.

4) If other people want to pick up my child?

We contact the parents first and the teachers might not remember the people who picked up the child last time so please let us know the name, looks and gender about the person who will pick up your child. If somebody else will pick up your child from the school bus please let us know 1-2 hours earlier.

5) If the child doesn’t listen to the teacher?

Let the child reflects on his behavior on the thinking chair, and make up with a friend when they had a fight. Sometimes the children get a minor injury when they had a fight or throwing things.( it happens rarely) The teachers do their best not to happen it again. And if there is a child who repeating bad behaviors and does not get better after many tries and asking a help from parents we might expel the child for the other student’s sake.

6) Communication problem with teachers and other Korean friends?

There should be no issues with a basic dialogue, the children are so brilliant so they can pick up Korean in 3-4 months ( can be different depend how old the child is ) If the parents have questions you can either leave a memo or talk on the phone, and you can get help from your Korean friends.

7) If my child doesn’t want a nap?

We don’t force it, and let the child play freely, wait until the child want to take a nap.

we follow school policies. anything different from policy, please write down and send it to the office. we will respond to it. it can be miscommunication or cultural differences. please speak slowly and if you still have a hard time please write it down. you can get help from your Korean friend. we will respond after get some help from an English speaker.

To protect our children from possible diseases that could be obtained through contacts. We are limiting the entrance of parents to the classrooms.

2013 (Year of Birth) : 358,000(All Includes Activity Fee) : 313,000(TUtion)+45,000(Act.)

Activity : 2 English class, 3 Korean class, 2 Math class, 2 physical activities,

1 HABA class, 1 Gabe, 1 Taegwando class, 1 art class, 1 Music class, expression class, number management class and free play time a week.
